Awards Banquet

When: March 23, 2010 - Doors will open at 6:45 PM, dinner at 7:15 PM
Where: Gainesville Girls Club (Google Map)
Cost: $12.00 per person, (no charge for kids 12 and under)

This is a members only event.

The Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club is about fun, friendship, learning, and good-natured competition. At the end of the year, we tally all the submitted Big Eight (soon to be the Big 10) catches and hand out some trophies.

The respected and coveted awards include:

• Ellett Angler of the Year - Men's, Women's, and Youth Division
• The John Patrick Challenge - Largest redfish for the year
• The Dave Abril Youth King Mackerel Championship - Largest Kingfish, youth division
• The Bernie Fowler Award - Largest GAG grouper
• Most Improved Angler
• Largest fish for Each of the Big Eight Species - Men's, Women's, and Youth Divisions

Come see who had the hot reels for the year, applaud their efforts, make them tell all their secrets, and eat lots of barbecue.

Banquet Menu
Main dish - BBQ chicken, pork, and ribs.
Sides - Baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, and dinner rolls.
